With yupo paper, paint can be lifted, creating a softer image…a whisper. I let the yellows and reds run freely over the yupo paper, then used a fine brush to lift the dragon shapes.

I started painting dragons in March 2020…who knows why…but they quickly became a visual representation of our COVID-19 battles. Since then, I’ve branched out, creating all kinds of dragons in various media. The magic of fantasy is so much fun, I’ve set a goal of 100 dragon images.
