When I used a hairdryer to speed drying, the heat created texture in the background which reminded me of flying over an ocean. Then I decided a group of dragons could also be flying over the ocean at a lesser altitude than my plane.

I started painting dragons in March 2020…who knows why…but they quickly became a visual representation of our COVID-19 battles. Since then, I’ve branched out, creating all kinds of dragons in various media. The magic of fantasy is so much fun, I’ve set a goal of 100 dragon images.
