Acrylic, 24″ x 36″  When my friend, Esme, was modelling for me once, she struck a Moon Ceremony pose, calling down the moon. I was struck by her pose and its underlying message. I used a textured background to create harmony in the painting and filled in the rest to visualize my impression of the Moon Ceremony.
