Class Supply Lists

Acrylic: Painting the Seasons

• Paint set of at least 8 2 oz. acrylic paints
• Brushes in a variety of sizes including one large house-painting brush
• Four canvases approx. 9 x 12
• Palette knife
• Palette
• Paper towels
• Water container
• An assortment of objects that could be used for texturing eg onion bag, screen, plastic fork, spool etc.

Mixed Media: Art With a Message

• Three canvases approx. 9×12
• Acrylic paint set of at least eight 2 oz tubes
• Gel medium (supplied by Inglenook and shared)
• Old newspapers and photos
• Brushes in an assortment of sizes, including one large house painting brush
• Palette
• Paper towels
• Water container

Drawing: From Line to Fantasy

• Sketchpad (min 16 x 20)
• Pencils 2H 2B 4B
• Fine tip permanent black marker
• Conte or charcoal sticks
• Coloured chalk pastels
• Paper towels

Acrylic: Using a Palette Knife

• Acrylic paints
• Brushes
• Three canvases 9x12ish
• A practice sheet, preferably canvas
• Palette (painting) knives in three sizes/shapes…all should have a lowered blade
• Palette

Watercolour Batik:

• Supplied by Inglenook (cost $10):
  • One full sheet of Awagami Ginwashi paper
  • Paraffin
  • Wax brushes and tjanting tools
  • Butcher paper
  • Water container
• To be supplied by participant:
  • Watercolour paints
  • Palette
  • Watercolour brushes
  • Paper towels
  • Hair dryer
