Mother dragon and her watchful eye. Being non-porous, Yupo paper allows paint to sit on the surface instead of soaking in. That means that large areas can be wiped clean. In this case, I wiped the area around the dragon.

I started painting dragons in March 2020…who knows why…but they quickly became a visual representation of our COVID-19 battles. Since then, I’ve branched out, creating all kinds of dragons in various media. The magic of fantasy is so much fun, I’ve set a goal of 100 dragon images.
