This is another experiment with wiping paint off yupo paper. The entire page was painted in the blues and yellows you see in the dragon. Then I wiped clean the area around the dragon and, with a finer brush, removed its features.

I started painting dragons in March 2020…who knows why…but they quickly became a visual representation of our COVID-19 battles. Since then, I’ve branched out, creating all kinds of dragons in various media. The magic of fantasy is so much fun, I’ve set a goal of 100 dragon images.
