This piece was an artistic turning point for me. It’s my first try at creating the possibility of dragons without rendering a dragon. Many viewers enjoy finding their own dragons in the painting. It won second place in the Artists’ Network international competition 2022, abstract experimental category, and won People’s Choice Award at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery’s annual exhibit for northern Ontario artists.
