One of the fun things about working on yupo paper, which is a plasticized surface, is the ability to wipe off parts of the image. Creating this ghost dragon was an interesting experiment…what to wipe off and what to leave on.

I started painting dragons in March 2020…who knows why…but they quickly became a visual representation of our COVID-19 battles. Since then, I’ve branched out, creating all kinds of dragons in various media. The magic of fantasy is so much fun, I’ve set a goal of 100 dragon images.
