Acrylic, 24″ x 36″ I was on a solitary walk on the shore of Lake of the Woods when I saw an old pair of sneakers hanging, neglected and forgotten, on a clothesline. The image was  a perfect metaphor for the nostalgic end to a beautiful summer.
